Forty-one years later they are still relevant and still producing quality products. What attracts me the most to the brand is that they are cruelty free, and concerned with the environment and sustainability, brands who don't incorporate saving practices into their business in this day and age are simply careless.

Since I could remember, I have suffered with dark marks. This mainly started when I was a teenager and had a bit of acne, which over time left me with dark spots where the pimples used to be. These marks eventually lighten and fade out if I religiously use products to treat this. As a result, I am always on the hunt to try serums and ointments that help reduce the damage caused by acne, or occasional pimples. I have tried acne remedy products from Dermalogica, Clear Skin, Filogra and Eucerin in the past. While these products reduced the appearance of dark marks, after using them for a long time it seemed to almost reach a threshold with my skin and no longer worked past that point.

The reason - they provide everything you would expect in a lipstick. High coverage, creamy, and long lasting, but they come at a hefty price. Until recently I didn't really know that our skin is sensitive to seasonal change. I always used to wonder why I would be dry and flaky in winter and oily in the summer months - well this is because weather affects our skin and I wasn't properly taking care of my skin. I started paying attention to how my skin chanes, what it likes and dosen't like and what products work and how to use them effectively. These are products I use for my combination sensitive skin and they are stables all year round in maintaining healthy glowing skin!
